Renewals measures retention when a contract (New Contract or Renewal Type) expires and is replaced with a Renewal contract. The Renewals chart is only available if using the Salesforce integration.

Up for Renewal = the sum of ARR for all customers with contracts expiring in month x

Renewed = the sum of ARR of all Closed-Won Renewal Opps that correspond to contracts expiring in month x, not including expansion

Renewal Expansion = the sum of ARR of all Closed-Won Renewal Opps in excess of the expiring contract ARR for each customer

Renewal Open = the sum of ARR for all Renewal Opps that are not Closed-Won or Closed-Lost and correspond to contracts expiring in month x

Renewal Contraction = the sum of ARR for customers with contracts expiring in month x - the sum of ARR of their corresponding Closed-Won Renewal Opps for all customers where ARR decreased between the two contracts

Renewal Churn = the sum of ARR on the expiring contract for customers who's Renewal Opp is Closed-Lost or does not exist
